Position Title: Legal Counsel
Location: Malta
Reports To: General Manager 

A rapidly growing iGaming company is on the lookout for a Legal Counsel to join the team in Malta, to provide legal advice and services to the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general legal advice across all areas of the business

• Assist Managers in considering legal issues in business decision-making.

• Oversee, negotiate, and draft contracts, including NDAs, corporate law matters, and property agreements.

• Liaise with external legal advisors when necessary and ensure compliance with legal obligations.

• Monitor and evaluate new legislation's impact on operations and provide guidance on strategies.

• Protect intellectual property and manage disputes, including working with external specialists for litigation when needed.

Role Requirements

• Qualifications: Law degree, minimum 8 years' post-qualification experience, admitted or eligible for admission as a barrister and solicitor.

• Experience: Expertise in Online Gaming and multi-jurisdictional legal matters, with strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.
