QA Engineer.

My client, a leading company in the iGaming industry, is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team in Malta on a hybrid basis.

Your mission is to continually refine and enhance software development processes, with a strong focus on identifying, eliminating, and preventing defects. You will report directly to the Head of Tech, and together, you'll explore new opportunities as you strategically plan the testing process.
 

Main Responsibilities

• Design and develop a test automation framework, incorporating standard continuous integration and delivery methodologies.
• Create and implement a front-end testing framework with a focus on mobile platforms.
• Define a comprehensive test strategy and maintain test scripts to ensure seamless data workflows.
• Conduct security testing, including penetration and fuzz testing.
• Test data ingestion and aggregation workflows.
• Mentor and support team members in developing their technical skills.
• Identify and address gaps in quality assurance, data management, and testing processes.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Desired Experience & skillset

• 3 + years of experience in a similar role
• B.Sc/M.Sc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in Playwright or Cypress.
• Experience in the iGaming industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with Go, JavaScript, Cypress, SonarQube, AWS, and Cloudflare is a plus.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
