Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering their professional growth.
Set goals, track performance, and ensure team alignment with business objectives.
Promote a culture of automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Infrastructure Management:
Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud or on-premise infrastructure.
Manage infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for automated provisioning.
Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.
CI/CD & Automation
Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and testing.
Automate workflows to improve efficiency and minimize manual intervention.
System Reliability & Security:
Implement observability tools for monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
stack).
Ensure security best practices are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management.
Troubleshoot and resolve system reliability and performance issues.
Collaboration:
Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to align DevOps strategies with company goals.
Advocate for best practices in automation, scalability, and security.
Key Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elk stack)
Leadership & Experience:
Proven ability to lead and mentor DevOps or engineering teams.
6+ years of experience in DevOps, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Hands-on experience with high-availability, scalable systems.
Soft Skills:
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
